OUR HISTORY
The Axel Group of Companies was founded in 1986 when it started as a specialist applicator in the construction and refurbishment industry. The company focused on applications of waterproofing, concrete repairs, special heavy duty coatings and grouting works.
Upon establishing a solid foundation by gaining thorough onsite experience, the group expanded upstream into manufacturing, venturing into producing its own specialty building chemicals for the construction, industrial, and civil sector.
AXEL was awarded the UKAS Quality Management Certification ISO 9001:2000 by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Ltd in the year 2003 and has maintained its accreditation in quality assurance ever since.
Today, AXEL is set out to be the nation’s foremost and forefront building solutions provider.

01 CERTIFIED MANUFACTURER
AXEL’s range of products is manufactured locally from high quality raw materials purchased from Malaysia and established companies from all around the world. With the accreditation of the ISO 9001 Quality System, quality assurances are maintained consistently.
The yearly production capacities for liquid base products are in excess of 7,500,000 litres with state of the art equipment, while dry powder capacity is 3,600,000 kg. Thus, ensuring that we have a constant chain of supply of solutions tailored to the specific customer’s needs.
In 1999, AXEL expanded its production capacity and range of products when it took over the manufacturing facilities of DNT (M) S/B for Dai Nippon Toryo of Japan.
02 R&D SUPPORT FACILITIES
We have a comprehensive range of laboratory equipment used for the testing of AXEL’s range of products. In addition, AXEL is associated with several testing laboratories in Singapore, such as STC and R&H of the USA. Over the years, AXEL’s R&D personnel have developed extensive experience and knowledge in the specialty of construction compounds and products that are suited to extreme local conditions. AXEL is committed to a policy of constant innovation and improvement of its products.
03 ASSOCIATED COMPANY
CREATIVE VENTURES SDN. BHD. was incorporated in the year 1986 under Malaysian Law as a principle applicator and contractor for the installation and supply of specialty chemicals in the area of waterproofing, grouting, concrete repair, architectural finishes, industrial wall and floor coatings.
AXEL maintains a technical service team for projects through Creative Ventures Sdn. Bhd. The teams are dedicated to manage projects in the area of building rehabilitation, structural grouting, foundation underpinning, drilling as in horizontal drains or micro-piling. Other services also include waterproofing or epoxy coating systems.
