2. Silicate floor hardener systems (AXEL GRANITE 203) are specially formulated with silicate compounds that react with the calcium hydroxide present in the concrete to produce a hardened surface. 3. Lithium floor hardener systems (AXEL GRANITE 203Li) are specially formulated lithium compounds that react with the calcium hydroxide present in the concrete to produce a hardened surface. They are similar to silicate floor hardeners in its application, but produces a higher performance in strengthening capabilities and provides an architecturally sound “sheen” like finish over the concrete surface.
